16/4-2013 Just started to build a Swiss Halszithern from all local wood.

16/4-2013

Just stringed up a model 01 Special last week and today it was delivered to its new owner. Buld of all Swiss wood, all through not a piece of rainforest! A very light and responsive well articulated instrument. Hot hide glue and hand brushed on spirit varnish as on all my instruments.

I got my sign up now, so look out for the golden guitar at Neustadtgasse 3!

21/7-2012

I am currently moving to a new workshop at Neustadtgasse 3 in Winterthur.

Here I will have much more space for building and  repairs. Plus more light and airy athmosphere thanks to the  big windows and open space.

Soon I will also have a small but fine selection of old and almost antique quality

instruments for sale. Restored and guaranteed by me.

I wish you all very welcome at the new

opening 17:th of august!

11/6-2012

I finally got a photo of Frank Playing his new Runesson Octavemandolin. Meanwhile I have almost

finished another similar Octavemandolin that will be ready for sale in a short time.

I am also working on

a 10-stringed Cittern that is a special custom order.

12/5-2012

Three days ago I strunged up the new octave mandolin and today it was bought by a fine musician!

So no octave mandolin to show on EWOB next week, sorry…

12/1-2012

I am currently working on Guitar No50 and No 49 in my work shop. No50 is a parlor guitar made in the same shape as No 25 – the R2-18 and it will  have some special features. For example a striking back made of 9 strips of Brazilian Rosewood with mahogany veneér between each strip. Sides Brazilian RW and the top of Swiss mountain Spruce. It will have a adjustable neck angle for easy adjustment of the string action and a sound hole inlay  made of square mother of pearl into a black background.

No49 is a 01 model built of Swiss alpine spruce and German Cherry.

Both guitars will be for sale probably in March.
